Helen Monks Takhar 2022

Helen Monks Takhar’s debut novel That Woman/Precious You is published in the UK by HarperCollins imprint HQ and in the US by Penguin Random House. She has a two-book deal with both HQ and PRH.

Her second novel Such A Good Mother will be published in August 2022.

Helen is joint MD of production company Second Generation with husband, screenwriter and executive producer, Danny Takhar.

Helen worked as a journalist, copywriter and magazine editor having graduated from Cambridge, she began her career writing for financial trade newspapers before contributing to UK national newspapers including The Times and The Observer. Born in Southport, Merseyside, she lives in North London with her husband and two daughters.
